It was such a joy to be part of SummerWorks this year, through the SLIP program. I saw some wonderful theatre, had the opportunity to talk about art with a crew of awesome young artists, and once again was overcome with love for this sticky, buzzing city.
Check out the interview that Jordi Mand (the classy and oh so talented Program Director) and I did on the neato blog Theatre Isn't Dead.
Mentorship was one of the aspects of SLIP that excited me the most.
I was delighted to be paired with the remarkable Kristen Thomson. I had the opportunity to chat with her as well as sit in on the Tech rehearsal for the play that she's performing in This Wide Night.
